1. I kind of felt bad for the folks staying in the skyscraper Marriott closer to town, since we were getting such a deal at a nice place down the road.

4. The roosters also will assist with the noise starting at 5 am ( which is not too bad - in Fiji and Tahiti they kick in at 3 am.

5. Even the chickens were not too bad, compared to other places we have stayed on Kauai (there were 3 resident dogs on site, so maybe they kept the Roosters at bay).
