1. We got no enquiry from the night staff about possible damage to our stuff in the bathroom--only a controlling attitude about who was in charge.

2. But hotel parking was full when I arrived, so I had to park in a public lot about a block away (which in hindsight probably fortunately avoided damage to the rental car).
