noise
s and the nearby train tracks (updated double pane windows would probably do the trick).

By running the air conditioning system's fan continuously and closing the heavy blackout curtains, we were able to drown out most of the

so we ended up sleeping just fine.

We checked it out, and while street
noise
was no longer a problem we ended up in a MUCH smaller, awkwardly laid out room.

Street
noise
and people talking on the sidewalk below could be heard since we were so low and the window glass is only single pane.
