7. Yes, you DO pay for it, however, it beats having to wait for the valet at other much more expensive hotels or having to go through a mission finding a meter.

9. Parking is expensive (about $25 a night i think) but its possible to find parking space on the streets ($1/hour) or in the garage at 17th St.
