1. This is a common problem with hotels in Manhattan due to main roads and volume of traffic, no fault of the hotel.

3. I had requested a room with 2 double beds but when I checked in, our room had some problems so they gave us two rooms (for the price of one) to make sure we were comfortable.

4. This didnt bother us too much and once we were back in the original hotel we had no more problems - oh, except one of the lifts was out of order so there was a long wait on the first couple of days.

5. Unfortunately there was a problem with the room so we had to stay in a different hotel (literally 1 minute walk away) on the first night, the staff were highly apologetic and gave us breakfast vouchers for our stay - unfortunately our breakfast (not excessive.
