2. noise was a factor, but it is always noisey in San Francisco, no matter where you stay.

3. This hotel had great beds, insulated the noise really well (my room faced the freeway), and the towels were for the most part soft (not like sand paper as in many other hotels.

4. On of the things I look in hotels is how comfortable the beds are, the level of outside noise, and the "fluffiness" of the towels.
