3. There is no restaurant on the premises, but at the condos next door, there is a fantastic (albeit somewhat pricey) restaurant overlooking the ocean, a shop with a fully stocked deli, and a convenience/mini grocery store complete with alcohol, souvenirs, suntan lotion, swimsuits, etc.

4. We choose to stay at the Days Inn because our days in Kihei would be filled with activities that kept us away from the hotel, therfore we didn't need a pricey high end resort.

PROS:right on a nice beachvery quiet propertysmall and cozy- not a huge resortI got a great deal (66$/night) - by far the best you can get on mauirooms were cleanvery close to many shops and restarauntsCONS:rooms were smallI did not like tile floors in room - but it is good for cleaning sand i supposeonly one choice for bedding (1 queen) - and no room for extra beddingno fitness centerlimited services- restaurant onsite was pricey and crowded at nightparking at night could be crowded due to popularity of restaurant on sitevery basic furnishings in roomno pool - beach onlyi was not planning on being in the room for the stay - out sightseeing the island adn this property was located in central/south maui, right in middle of island so it was a good base to venture out from everyday.
