We never rented any chairs at the beach; they seemed silly-
expensive
, and I personally feel such things should be gratis at a hotel or TS the caliber of Marriott.

Whalers village is about 1/2mi away up the beach, just walk up the cement sidewalk beach path and you have a nice selection of shopping and dinings, along with less
expensive
fast food places like McDonalds, Subway, Wraps, Yogurtland, etc.

oh my, these pull out bed mattresses are far better than what I slept on growing up and are similar to the
expensive
memory foam type beds.

The Marriott has a place where you can get breakfast or lunch take-out,
expensive

For eating, there's Tropica at the Westin, which we decided was too
expensive
this time around, but there are 3 restaurants in Whaler's Village.
