1. Renovated rooms are nice, and while we're glad to see the end of the dirty wicker furniture & big gray square Trinitrons, I'm not quite sure the upgrade merits a doubling of the room rates.

2. There were these fabulous mini-cabanas which made relaxing on the beach even nicer - however, they were kind of dirty, but the hotel provided very nice towels.

3. it wasn't wonderful (dirty carpet which they quickly steam cleaned after i commented, but a very nice marble/granite bathroom.

4. I didn't see any of the dirty rooms that others have mentioned and our family had 5 different rooms.
