1. I think its an old apartment building that they remodeled but for the 16-18 floors which are privately owned, so if there's a problem they have no way to remedy the issue.

4. A few technical glitches with our door lock and safety deposit box (my son's fault) gave us an opportunity to witness the efficient maintenance staff who serviced the issues with a smile.

5. Those two minor issues aside, we were very happy with this hotel and would definitely stay here again due to the price, comfort, and location in comparison to the rest of Waikiki.
