4. Though I expected bugs and mold - as Hawaii is at the edge of the tropics - I thought at least the staff would make efforts to keep things clean (shower floor was slimy - flip flops.

6. As for the bugs, when you get up at night to pee, just give the bugs a moment to run to their respective hiding spots after you turn on the lights.
