1. it was about 12:30 in the morning and they were being really noisy in the hallway slamming stuff around and talking really loudly which is dis-respectful in my opinion.

2. The only thing I did not like is that it was still a little noisy at night when we tried to sleep, but that was only becuase it was Mardi Gras I'm sure, and you can't really avoid it.

3. Based on others' write ups, I settled on this hotel because it appeared reasonable, within walking distance, yet, out of the noisy ear shot of the French Quarter (it is, in fact, within a few blocks of the Waldorf Astoria, Ritz Carlton etc.

4. Room was a bit on the small side, no window (but no biggie for me - I never pay for hotel room to stare through windows), elevator floor signal noisy.

5. Hotel is located in a quiet part of town, next to the big names (Wyndham, Waldorf Astoria, Renaissance) and away from the noisy Bourbon St (but within 5 min walk).

8. It ended up being a room right by the elevator and we wondered if it would be a problem at night when noisy neighbors came in but I never heard anything.
