The staff then strongly recommended and sent us to a local bar that turned out to be a smoky hole-in-the-wall with the music so loud we couldn't hear ourselves think, let alone talk, and a waitress was seen bringing out a bottle of beer squashed into her sweaty armpit since her hands were full of other drinks.

7. I could not reach the front desk on the phone, the information booklet on the desk did not contain any information, and the maid knocked on each door at 8:00 am loudly announcing herself and disturbing those who wanted to rest, something I have never experienced in a hotel before.

8. The noise from the airport was one factor to deal with, but the pneumatic closers on the stairway doors did not work, so the doors slammed loudly and echoed down the hallway.
