My room had peeling wallpaper in a corner, scuffs on the wall, worn, cracked caulking in the shower &
dirty
tile grout - things you might accept in a motel during Spring Break, but not the standard for a decent business hotel.

4 night stay, late August to watch Moto GP at the Motorspeedway, double room on the 9th floor, can't really complain, it was 'used' is probably the best description, a little tired, not
dirty
but not imaculate.

Cleaned our room on the first day and didn't remove the
dirty
dishes, but they did remove the bathroom floor mat and didn't replace it for the rest of our stay.

I hope they enjoyed throwing out the filthy sheets (quite a number of us had been at the drag races and were really
dirty
) and draining and scrubbing the pool and hot tub.
