1. We only had one problem and that was with the toliet leaking.

5. On our most recent visit, we had 3 problems with the room: our microwave stopped working, the safe didn't work, and the smoke alarm in the bedroom started beeping.

6. Room furnishings at the hotel were ok - I noticed when my heat was on there was kind of a yucky smell from the unit, but other people who stayed in the hotel said they did not have that problem so maybe it was specific to my room.

7. The main problem with the hotel is the train noise -- turning on the fan at night is a must to suppress the noise.

8. There is a Metro station about a 5 minute or less walk from the hotel and I highly recommend buying an all day pass for $9 a person which will allow you unlimited rides on the Metro for 1 day after 9:30 am(which is not a problem because most of the museums don't open till 10:00).

9. I had been a little concerned because last year there were reports of bed bugs, but this year from what I have read and experienced that is no longer a problem.
