1. It was dark amd dingy, damp patches on ceilings a bathroom in need of upgrade and some of the wiring hanging out of the sockets.

2. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable, although a few updates would be nice -- the headboard was completely scratched up, the carpet was dingy, the kitchen smelled weird and the refridgerator froze our water even though it was on the lowest setting.
