1. Points raised in other reviews are accurate: the rooms are large but worn, the Internet is very slow, the proximity to Trader Joe's is a plus, and the view from higher floor rooms is not bad.

5. The furnishings were a little run down, especially a padded head board badly in need of recovering, but the location was great, just 2 blocks from the Foggy Bottom Metro station and with a Whole Foods in between.

6. My room had mold from plumbing problems in the kitchen, carpeting that was pulling up (that was bad enough that I tripped on it), the leather on the headboard was worn and tattered.
