The help I got from the
concierge
desk here in arranging transport, car rentals, suggestions for where to run in the morning, shopping, etc. would have made this a great stay even if the other facilities weren't as great as they were.

The check in staff had to do double duty as

and they were not as connected and well versed as a normal Ritz
concierge
would be, however, they were always pleasant to work with despite providing minimal service.

I had the misfortune of falling ill while at the Ritz and I was genuinely moved by the way everyone from the
concierge
s, to the front desk, the bell stand, housekeeping, and even room service felt the need to check-in on me.
