4. Eventually, we got the manager involved and we were given non smoking rooms and a 'goody bag' as apology which was really nice.

5. If you can manager your day around that, you'll save a ton of money in DC, especially since the restaurants in town and at the museums are very expensive (we spent $45 at the Holocaust Museum on 2 mini pizzas, a sandwich, two cookies and two drinks).

7. Now the card by the bed says to be green, they will only change sheets every other day but when i asked the manager about the light policy he said they do that for all rooms Means every light in on in the hotel from the morning when house keeping comes through until whenever the guest gets in.
