Location is its only downfall - not within
walk
ing distance of town really - can
walk
to 4th ave but its about 15 mins or so - so not right in the heart of things - but if you have a car then its fine.

It's a bit of a long
walk
from the motel to downtown of the 4th avenue area, but a bit closer to the university.

I left my key in the room, but instead of making me
walk
down to the office, the service staff called the office and let me into the room.

I would like to add this, though: I went on a long early morning
walk
and passed a surprisingly large number of similar-looking hotels, all 'of a certain age'.
"Very clean, nicely remodeled room, though it looks a little questionable from the outside "

I had to
walk
twice in the rain to the office to complain and the desk girl gave me a new room.
