At check-in on the lobby side, there was a person I took to be the evening
manager
who was welcoming and friendly; however the staff on the desk did not exhibit similar qualities, a smile goes a long way.

We were booked into the Parkview, owned by the same company, but the Parkview didn't have the 2 double beds we requested (sold out for the Syracuse/Georgetown basketball game) so the

offered to put us up at the Genesee Grande.

at the door one day and she asked if I was enjoying my stay, how my accommodations were, and asked about my kids.
