1. The parking is a bit tight as well; sometimes they have valet service to help with it, but can be a bit inconvenient if you want to drive around a lot (honestly though, you probably won't need to drive much from here, if you do, it defeats the purpose of going to a hotel in this location).

2. I did rent a car to drive to UCSB- parking was reasonable at $9 per night and there is a valet to help you esp when lot was full.
