1. Otherwise the place is good - beds were comfortable, hot tub was nice on a rainy day ( pool wasn't heated though as their website says, but that was ok)There is food within walking distance ( a great Thai restaurant across the street, fast food, bagel shop, Starbucks).

9. Also, the 3 times we went down to the pool, we had to go to the front desk and again, ask for pool towels.

Upon entering the front desk girl greeted us and she literally took care of all of needs: she offered a room away from the freeway so there would be minimal noise, offered us two beds, told us the opening and closing times of their brand new restaurant, gave us a map of the san diego zoo, told us about their pool and spa, let us know exactly where our room was.
