1. since our hotel was prepaid for all 4 nights,, we couldn't just leave so waited for a manager who finally got us two connecting rooms ( the third one was nearby, not connected- which was ok I guess, it had a view of some dirty roofs too and wasn't ready for hours.

2. Called the manager of the hotel and he couldn't get me off the line fast enough.

3. We were happy though that the main issues were resolved eventually ( after probably at least 20 minutes at the counter with a crying baby, manager was trying to fix the issues as she felt parenting comradely.
