1. Nice touches included: rice krispie treats and fruit-flavored water in the lobby during the day, complimentary bottles of water upon departure, complimentary taxi service with the 'Acura Experience', unique room decoration (think chalkboards and window seats), very friendly staff (every time we entered the hotel, we were greeted by at least one employee; every time we left the hotel, we were offered directions and well wishes by at least one employee)Areas for improvement include: overpriced valet parking (at $35 a day, this was more than twice the cost of our rental car!), rooms are small and noisy (you can hear everything in the hallway and in adjacent rooms), pool area is cramped and does not allow much sun (note: this might be because of renovation that the full pool area is not open?).
"Typical W - Some nice touches but will NOT stay here again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/19/2012 Vote
2. The lobby is a great spot to hang out, and the rooms are nice and beds are supercomfy (plus the Bliss soaps & gels), but I gave it 4 stars because of the dysfunctional shower & the surrounding area.
"good, trendy choice if you have to stay in downtown " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/14/2012 Vote
3. Yes, the lobby is beautiful (albeit far from original, fresh, etc. at this point), the one-word names for everything ('SLEEP' / 'SWEAT' / 'SNOOZE') somewhat clever - although a bit of a stretch in some cases - and the staff attractive (it counts, trust me), but given the cost, it's not someplace I'd stay again.

6. At 4:30AM - believe me - there were no young nightclubbers to enjoy the atmosphere, in fact, there was NO ONE else in the lobby except employees.
"Quirky " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/18/2012 Vote
7. Lots of well-dressed couples having cocktails in the lobby, (which is also the cocktail lounge) listening to the live music that was provided free.
