The gaslamp has tons of hotels but most charge ridiculous fees
to park
($20-$30), resort fees, and lots of times the rooms are small.

The first night we found a few tight spots available, but the second night we had

On the other hand, I have to say that guests were not considerate enough
to park
between the lines, often making it impossible for a bigger car to fit.

CONS: It was hard to find the hotel, the parking was horrible we had to drive around for close to a half hour just to get a parking spot and then we were told
to park
in the dennys parking lot across the street, let me remind you that the neighborhood is not a good neighborhood at all so we were very worried about our vehicle being parked in a area where something may happen to it.
