1. Hotel Circle is a good area to stay, close to downtown and freeways.

2. Getting to downtown San Diego was a breeze, which involved a 5 minute walk to the tramway station on the otherside of the freeway and a $6.00 day pass allowed you to travel all through the metropolitan area (would recommend the farmers organic market in Little Italy each week.

4. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel, but I walked the short distance (perhaps 4 - 5 blocks) to the trolley station and easily accessed downtown.

7. On the plus side, the hotel is ideally located if you are open to taking public transit, with a bus stop right outside taking you to Fashion Valley mall or, in the other direction, downtown.
