4. Leave the car behind and simply cross the street to eat at the great local restaurants: Japanese, Indian, Italian, Diner, Afghan, Lebanese, etc. etc. Hillcrest is a great area that`s close to downtown and everything else.

5. Location is great--one block off mainstream Hillcrest street and close to wonderful restaurants; food in the area is fabulous and the people are very friendly plus the shopping is walking distance.

9. Just across the street, you find the Kona coffee bar, and also a selection of good restaurants for Indian, Mexican, Italian, Thai food, to mention a few.
