8. The hotel is right beside the Convention Centre, and is a 2 minute walk to the Gaslamp District which has numerous bars, pubs, classy restaurants, regular restaurants, burger joints, nightlife.

Pros of Hotel Stay-room was very very clean (I am very particular about the cleanliness of hotel rooms I stay in)-easy to get everywhere in SD from this hotel-safe available in room-balcony overlooking the water-large & clean bathroom with a large shower-actually get hot water in the shower which is not always the case in hotels-property is smoke free-fridge in room-hair dryer in room is a normal one, not one of the mini dinky ones that are useless-staff very friendly & helpful with directions & suggestions-restaurants & lounge in hotel looked decent and were busy, but we never ate at them; we ate in Seaport Village and Gaslamp District restaurants-coffee in the room is actually drinkable.
