1. It is centrally located, with plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs in the vicinity.

8. The location in the Gaslamp area is great, the 19th century look and feel, the shopping, and nightlife is all here, no need to get the tourist-shafting experience in the Old Town (although the Old Town is a wonderful place to explore by day, by night it is disappointing).
