1. Near the hotel, there is a Von's, Trader Joes and further down the street PLENTY of fast food or sit down restaurants.

2. Parking at Old Town in the various San Diego State Park parking lots (free) or on the street never gave us a problem.

4. The location close to the airport was great and turned out to be very convenient to restaurants and other necessities on major streets (Nimitz and Rosecrans, to name a couple.

5. It's close to the airport but not too close, and it's close to the MCRD (Marine Base), and it's close to Rosecrans which is a popular street with tons of food options etc. This hotel lives up to it's high ranking #5 out of 247 hotels in the San Diego area.

6. The Courtyard is located behind a shopping area with some restaurants, so you can't see it from the street, but it isn't hard to find.

10. Buses into downtown leave from the main road opposite Starbucks every half-hour (not Sundays, and only hourly via the airport on Saturdays), but there's another bus route towards the trolley interchange which leaves from Rosecrans Street.
