1. the hotel also accepted a couple of faxes on our behalf (again free of charge; I recall being charged $20 for a fax at the bellagio several years ago!)location of the hotel is good; a couple of minutes from the airport and maybe double that to down town san diego and the midway.

2. there are no safes in the room, but I used a safe box behind reception for the duration of our stay (although there wasn't much left to put into it towards the end of the holiday), and again this was free of charge.

5. I would have chosen to stay downtown, and could have for the same price ($150) at the Marriott marina or the Omni, but I hate parking fees and both charge in the $35 - $40 range so I went with Liberty Station.
