1. The front desk staff was VERY courteous and friendly and reminded us that they had free DVD rentals and a free breakfast in the morning.

2. The trolley sevice is a short 5 minute walk from hotel, San Diego has a very good public transport service available, the front desk are able to provide info on how to get around, we found this extremly helpful.

5. )When we first got to our room and found it was very dark, we asked if we could change to a sunnier room, which the manager(?not sure--the woman at the front desk) did her best to remedy--the room she put us in got more natural light, but was still pretty dark.

9. The woman at the front desk didn't give us a hassle when we asked to go back into the room because we forgot 'something' and as my fiance was running full speed back to the room we just past the housekeeping lady that had actually found the ring and was giving it to the woman at the front.
