1. Given all that, Old Town Inn would not be an ideal place for an extended stay because of its lack of certain amenities and the inability to easily walk out and get them nearby (like a restaurant or bar).

2. If the Old Town Inn would just upgrade their amenities like the soap bars and shampoo and add some shower caps, it would be comparable to a Hampton Inn wich is more expensive.

Would make a few minor suggestions to the (responsive) owners, to upgrade the plain bar of soap and shampoo to a slightly higher brand, and to have the breakfast makers pay a little closer attention to the supply of food and utensils during the breakfast hours, perhaps checking every 10-15 minutes.

4. Although a little close to fairly shady girlie bars, the sound of the airport and freeway, this little place is very well maintained, exceptionally clean, spacious rooms, lots of hot water and simple but nice breakfast.

7. the next night i went back to the gaslamp district and another favorite staff person of mine mary suggested this cowboy bar they just opened called the double duce.

8. The location, in a industrial area, seem quite odd, but it turns out great, because it was only 10 minute walking from the center of Old Town, where you can find great restaurants and bars to spend the night.
