Since I was staying for a conference, I had two free breakfasts, free

for one vehicle and free Internet.

This could be a bargain if there was a big convention and an event at the Areana but not in the slow summer weekend when I was there when free
parking
was found very easily around the hotel (lots of un-metered 2 hour free
parking
8am-6pm Mon.

Parking
is easy and secure underground with access to the lobby from the elevator.

instead of the usual $12.

Parking
fees are also a bit steep (12 $ a night), but that comes with the location, one block of Temple Square.

During our driving tour of the US this was the only hotel that charged for
parking
it is however a city centre property however I always feel that this is a little mean.

You have to pay for
parking
as you do for all the other down-town hotels, but the location makes it totally worth it.

Most properties just to the south of Downtown don't charge for
parking
, but those aren't exactly walking distance to the Salt Palace area.
