1. The Grand America Hotel is located across the street and also has a wonderful Lounge and a terrific Sunday Brunch.

5. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are two parts to this hotel: the main tower and outside-access 'motel-type' rooms that surround the parking lot (and I believe it is affiliated with the more luxurious Grand America across the street.

7. When you ride up in your cab, there are a few things to note: the garish sign, the massive complex of hideous brick buildings, and the juxtaposition of this and the ludicrously fancy sister hotel across the street, Grand America.
