1. They helped us with directions, recommended food places, and were even accomodating when it came to giving us a ride in the complimentary shuttle service within 3miles of the hotel.

2. For those not familiar with Portland, the charm really comes from the neighborhoods, and you're a quick shuttle ride (the Courtyard offers free shuttle service) or fun walk to many of the best neighborhoods.

4. They have a FREE shuttle van that will take/pick you up anywhere within a 3-mile radius, and it's only about a $10 cab ride back from downtown (van only runs until 11pm).

7. After checking in, they said not to hesitate to ask questions about directions, recommendations downtown, etc. They also offered a complimentary shuttle anywhere downtown, which we took advantage on one night when we attended an event downtown.

8. The Courtyard hasn't offered a free airport shuttle in the last 2 years, this was the ONLY downside to this hotel.
