6. Large lobby with water feature, breakfast area, bar, etc. Check in was quick, front desk staff was friendly and able to provide information on the airport shuttle.

8. Aside from a few dessicated pieces of fruit, the breakfast bar made no attempt to accommodate vegetarians/vegans - not even a non-dairy creamer was in sight and, when asked, the barely-English-speaking staff could not have shown less interest in understanding or answering the question.

9. We asked about somewhere to dine and, despite our expressing a preference for Chinese, would ONLY admit that the city of Portland held 3 restaurants: 'her' lounge, 'her' snack bar, and 'her' sit-down dining room.

10. The interior courtyard has waterfall, plants and a bar and seating area which is refreshing after a long, tiring flight.
