1. Good sized shopping center right across the street if you need to pick up a few things at a supermarket.

4. Another nice thing was the hotel is across the street from a gas station, coffee hut, and fast food place (i cant remember if it was a wendys, taco bell or burger king?) We didnt eat there because we drove across the bridge and ate dinner at the Joes crab shack just a few miles away and with in 5-10 min driving.

7. I-5 simply bunches up near the Washington/Oregon crossing, and even if you immediately exit the highway for city streets (which doesn't make sense when heading downtown, for instance), you're still captive for the couple of miles to get on and off.
