1. Staff was very knowledgable and helpful in finding areas of interest, and we even got a complimentary appetizer courtesy of the front desk at a restaurant they recommended and even arranged reservations for us.

7. Finally, the fitness center that they give you a complimentary pass to is one of those half-hearted 24 Hour Fitness places about two blocks away, and it does not offer towels, nor any kind of shampoo/conditioner, along with a tiny two lane lap pool and a lukewarm whirlpool.

8. Modera's website says you can get complimentary passes to the gym around the block which we THOUGHT we'd use and did not but it's just hard to get there when you are so focused on eating at all of the places you're supposed to eat at in Portland.

10. it was a guest services staffer with a complimentary bottle of wine, chocolates and a handwritten note from the front desk thanking us for celebrating our anniversary w/them 8-) Again, I would highly recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed.
