3. Tastefully decorated in deco style, my room was beautiful, the marble bathroom was larger than my one at home (thank you check in guy for the unsolicited upgrade).

8. Hotel deLuxe was the perfect stopover- great location, walking distance to the Pearl District, comfortable room, nice staff, and a great bar with some very tasty happy hour snacks.

9. Their restaurant Gracies, delicious while slightly expensive, is an outstandingly grand and beautiful addition to the hotel's lobby, while the cool, dark and mysterious Driftwood Room is an excellent spot to unwind with a drink during one's stay at this divine hotel.

10. The character (Hollywood oldies permeate the decor) of the place, the excellent, attentive staff, the clean and attractive rooms, and a wonderful dining room -- all this plus a good location for walking to Portland's various attractions.
