If you enjoy getting woken up to the melodious sounds of construction, don't need a small fridge, don't mind staying on a slightly dangerous block at night, enjoy gray walls with new good views of Philly, hard rock beds and over-washed rock pillows, and stoned/drunk boys yelling at 4am down the hallway - do stay here.

4. I've stayed at motels with views of parking lots, dumpsters, and oil refineries.

5. The hotel was comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the internet access was free of charge, and the only significant problem I had was that there was no external window or access to light (let alone a view) from outside.
