The
front desk
staff was very helpful but the owner was the only one who could override the charge.

We were met at the
front desk
by a pleasant gentleman that was happy to keep our bags for us until a room became available.

There were no windows in this room apart from one that looked out at the
front desk
, which was a bit creepy as guests were checking in/out, but there was a curtain for privacy and it was not noisy at night as I had feared.
"Convenient location to the convention center, otherwise look elsewhere "

Friendly staff, continental breakfast in the a.m. It's true there is not on-site parking, but the
front desk
has coupons for the lot 2 blocks away.

My room: ten feet from the
front desk
(on the same faux marble floor as the lobby), six inches from the stairwell, four feet from the elevator, three stairs up and four steps from the front door, and about seven feet above the sidewalk.
"It's as if they went out of their way to make the rooms as loud as possible. "

When I went back to the
front desk
to get another I was shown the only other nonsmoking rooms they had, which were five feet across from the
front desk
, again on the same faux marble floor.
