1. I used a TripAdvisor coupon and got a room upgrade at a reasonable price and only $15/night valet parking (other Philly downtown locations charge $40/night parking - ouch).

5. All the charm, sophistication, and service of a $400/night hotel without the price, stuffiness, and obnoxious upscale-hotel decor/clientele.

6. Even if I were doing stuff in Center City, I'd rather stay at Conwell for half the price of the CC hotels, and then just take a $5-10 cab ride in.

7. I just returned from a quick family trip and needed a location that was outside of the high parking prices of downtown but not too close to family (you know what I mean - I'm visiting, not moving back in with them!) Anyway, this quaint inn is on Temple University's campus and an easy shot down Broad Street to either City Center or out to the burbs.

8. We should have stayed in the city center, and actually for a suite for a family of four, with tax, the price is not much higher.
"Good hotel, but very quiet area in summer " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/6/2011 Vote
9. I could not find a reasonably priced (under $200) room anywhere near the historic area (admittedly I waited until the week before) and this was about the closest I could find in that price range.
"A great deal for a summer visit to Philly " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/18/2010 Vote
10. The desk manager did knock off some of the price for me, but since this was work I would have gotten reimbursed anyway.
"Had a very poor experience here " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/19/2008 Vote
