2. Speaking of the breakfast in the cafe, while pastries, fruit and coffee/tea are included in the room rate, they also offer fresh squeezed juice ($4) and omelets, pancakes, waffles ($8 each), all prepared to order.

There is a free breakfast (omelets and organic juices extra), and you can relax with a complimentary glass of wine from about 5 - 7 p.m. If you arrive by car, you can hand off the keys and the staff will park it for you at a nearby garage for about $15/day, a bargain compared to the exorbitant 'valet' rates most hotels charge.

Rittenhouse 1715 is a gem - warm friendly but professional service, terrific location just around the corner from Rittenhouse Square and a two minute walk to the shops on Walnut Street, quiet rooms furnished with Frette linens and robes, Molton Brown bath products, extremely comfortable bed - and a terrific breakfast of fresh rolls/bagels, cereals, breads and juice, all included in the room rate.
