1. Universal studio is quite close and we actually walked there from the hotel it took us 20 minutes, there is a free shuttle bus service from the hotel but you have to book the night before to get a place and only goes and picks up at designated times.

Me and my family stayed here for 2 weeks 28/4/12 - 12/5/12 it is a brilliant hotel rooms are very cosy and had the most comfy bed iv ever slept in we only got home to day and are already on the internet ready to book again for next year the location is great there is a I ride bus stop right out side and cost only 1.50 wich takes you up and down international drive or you can book a place on the shuttle bus wich is free wich takes you to most of the park.

3. The free shuttles are ok but the most convenient one at 9-15 to universal seemed to fill up quickly and sold out so try to book early a day in advance and prepare to stand on the shuttle.

You dont have to drive anywhere if you dont want to as there is a ton of places across the street(Millers ale house esp) and a Italina place that was knock your socks off good with dynamite atmosphere, Maggianos or something like that and gift shops that are cheaper then the one in the hotel where you can get lots of cool stuff cheap!there is a trolley stop at the hotel and a free shuttle as well to Universal.
