1. We have two small boys and it was nice to be able to prepare lunches for the next day while they slept.

2. The fridge/microwave allowed us to do some shopping at the nearby Wal-mart and stock up on snack foods,drinks and lunch items which helped to cut our costs for food (which can be considerable at the Disney parks).

In addition, there is only one return from Downtown disney and that is at 11:20 p.m. I had arrived at the hotel and planned on spending the afternoon having lunch at Beaches and Cream and then head to Downtown Disney but I missed the first afternoon departure and the second was scheduled for 4:00.
