7. couple blocks from anything and everything ( bourbon, street cars, Harrah's casino, some of the best restaurants in the country) Dont let anyone try to scare you and say dont go to New Orleans because of Katrina.

8. We were an easy walk to the French Quarter, the Canal Street ferry dock to go over to Algiers & Mardi Gras World, the St Charles streetcar line to ride through the Garden District, and a few short blocks from Harrah's to indulge in a little casino fun and their restaurants.
