3. The location was nice as it is on the street car line so it is easy access anywhere and walking distance to some great restaurants but not in the middle of the French Quarter hustle and bustle.

4. Also, the restaurant was fabulous for a Sunday breakfast.

5. Saks Fifth Avenue- Mall etc. etc. There was a beautiful, elegant restaurant called the Palace Cafe - simply scrumptulicious!you could see the chefs cooking thru the glass windows near the bar area, the waiters had bow ties, and there were beautiful stairs where you could be seated on the 2nd floor - where we were next to the windows where you could see the activity going on ouside.
"Find an Alternative " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/16/2010 Vote
6. It has no gym, pay-per view, room-service (though there is a pretty good restaurant by the lobby that does breakfast and lunch) etc, but given it's location (3 blocks from the French Quarter) it can be a great deal if you get a decent rate.

9. But, who can complain when John Besh's restaurant is half a block away, and thanks to a tip from the hotel staff, I found out they serve 1/2 priced French 75 cocktails and oysters at Happy Hour -every day.

10. The Parc St Charles is located just about 4 blocks west of the French Quarter, so is great walking distance to the bars, restaurants, and shopping located there.
