1. The staff is wonderful and the rates are the very best.

2. It has no gym, pay-per view, room-service (though there is a pretty good restaurant by the lobby that does breakfast and lunch) etc, but given it's location (3 blocks from the French Quarter) it can be a great deal if you get a decent rate.

10. I agree that the parking was bad, I had called them several times before our stay and had been told each time it was VALET parking, the parking garage was a 5-10 minute walk and it was above the rate quoted but that seemed to be the same everywhere during Mardi Gras, we saw 40.00 at one place.
